About the role
Build the money systems behind checkout, refunds and seller payouts, correct to the paisa. You will work closely with a small, senior team, ship often and see the difference your work makes for customers and sellers across India.
What you will do
- Design idempotent payment, refund and settlement services
- Build the fee engine and ledger behind seller statements
- Work with finance on reconciliation, TCS and TDS reporting
What we are looking for
- Experience building payment or ledger systems
- Strong SQL and data modelling
- Comfort with distributed systems and failure handling
Nice to have
- Experience with Indian payment aggregators and UPI
- TypeScript or Go
